Stranding

For twisting different products single twist stranding lines can be offered. High rotor speeds are obtained by the use of rotors produced from light weight / high strength carbon fiber.
The back-twist pay-offs allow a minimum pay-off tension of 3 N (0.7 lbs) for sensitive products. Different product e. g. control cables, data cables, fiber optics can be twisted. An integrated capstan guarantees a constant pitch when stranding or applying tapes, especially during acceleration and deceleration, furthermore a tension decoupling is possible between the pay-off side and the take-up side. A unique cable guide design protects the product and enables considerably higher line speeds when stranding compared to conventional machines e. g. applying alu-tapes on data cables speeds up to 600 rpm are possible. Low maintenance cost. The vHF single twist strander has no slip rings. (when no spark tester is installed).
